Blue Finger nails?

My boyfriend of 4 months has blue finger nails and generally cold hands. I have mentioned that this is odd and he brushes it off saying 'that's just the way they are.' I don't want to bug him about it, but how important is it that he sees someone?

Also, he drinks TREMENDOUS amounts of water. I mean like 8 LITERS of water per day. Could this be related?Blue Finger nails?
I would say he needs to see a doc, health isn't an issue to be messed with or play guessing games. He may just be a anemia or it could be a more serious condition. My husband drinks a lot of water to probable twice that and he is health and normal.Blue Finger nails?
Blue fingernails is a sign of poor circulation. Both poor circulation and unusually high water intake are potential signs of diabetes.

He should see a doctor about these symptoms. Diabetes is serious, and if left untreated, can lead to serious problems, such as losing hands / feet, and even death.
Blue fingers is not a good sign, this is one of the signs of heart problems, a like of oxygen in the blood, pinched nerve, poor circulation. PAY ATTENTION to it check for swelling in the fingers also. You don't want to bug him but it is best that you do until he sees a doctor, it could mean life or death.
If he is drinking alot of water per day that is good because he is cleaning his body...filter your kidneys...and that is a good thing..maybe the cold hands blue finger nails...is a sign of poor circluation. He can always go to the doctor and have ti looked into .
too much of anything is no good for you!! even water!! but about his nails he need to get that checked out because it might mean that is blood is not circulating properly!!! if you are concerned then its something that deserves some attention
He may have reynaud's syndrome/phenomenon. With reynaud's people experience decreased blood flow in small arteries.

A warm climate or meds can help. Though he should check with a doctor to make sure the blueness isn't caused by a lack of oxygen.
