a weight fell on my toenail about 35% of my nail is light blue about 3 mm away from the corner . will it fall off ? and what can i do to avoid it falling off . i am dreading the pain that will be experienced ?Toe nail light blue after weight fell?
Actually, if it happens at all, it'll turn black before the nail falls off. Since it's only about 35% of the nail that's bruised, you probably won't lose the nail at all.

i had the same problem too. there is a chance that it will fall off. its not going to hurt when it falls or even when you touch your toe. it will recover so dont worry, but it takes like a month or 2 for your toe nail to grow back
If it starts to fall off then i think you should put an icepack on it. Even if it does fall of it will still grow back. So my answer to you is to put an icepack on it and/or put some pain ointment on it.

It most likely is just bruised and since you said light blue, that color indicates it will not fall off. If it was darker and a larger area chances are greater.
I think that the pain of the weight falling on your toe would be more than that of the nail falling off. You've already gone through the worst part I'd say!
