Could be a sign of poor circulation in your body, my friend has the same thing. It's really life threatening or anything it's just that his hands and feet will get really cold easily. When i start to get cold, my finger nails turn noticably purple and blue.. why is this?
It is a sign of poor circulation. I would tell your physician about it and see what he/she has to say about it.
its maybe cuz ur fingers r cold its natural happens to me sumtimres too just weAR MITTENS WHEN ur gonna go sumwhere cold
It happens to me all the time, your circulation is poor.
poor circulation
Your body is attempting to keep you warm by drawing blood away from your extremities, such as fingers and toes, and circulating it around your chest and brain to keep the vital organs warm. It happens to everyone, though in your case it's more apparent.

There are certain heart conditions that may make fingertips turn purple/blue but since you're cold when it happens that's probably not the cause. If you're concerned you could have your doctor give you a quick checkup.

Good luck!
its because of your blood vessels shrinking therfore they are less oxygenated an loose the color
