I would go with french tips, because they are not so harsh on the eyes, and easily match any out fit. All around its just a cuter look! Good luck!

I agree w/poster above - french tips in dark blue/light blue. It was popular in the late 90s but now you never see it so it's original looking.
I'd say go for the french tips, class never goes out of style.


better yet, get a buffing set from Obey Your Body, %26amp; do totally natural nails, looking like thier already polished. that's really pretty %26amp; shiny. Healthy looking %26amp; doesnt have to be redone often.

why dont you do french tips in the shade of blue you like?? i did that in red to match my prom dress and it was so cute.
french tip is so classy, but if you want to be edgy or younger go with indigo blue.
French tips go with just about anything, but if blue is in parts of your outfit, it would be a good accent
Inidgo blue. French tips are played out and tacky. Too many white trash women have worn them and ruined the look.

i had this same problem the other day! my family owns a nail salon so im constantly getting my nails done so i couldnt decide if i should get a french or paint my nail hot pink so i painted the tips hot pink!! so it was like a pink french!! it looks really cute and my friends liked them and they asked me to do it for them!! so i recommend that you paint the tips of your nails indigo blue so it would basically be in the middle of you two choices!!
